Absolute rubbish the worst internet…

Apsolute rubbish the worst internet provide ever, talk talk and now internet much better. Shell internet doesn’t work at all, they give you little to no internet, then charge you for months of internet you’ve not received rubbish company with rubbish customer service!!!!

Stay away from shell broadband

I am currently sitting on hold, it’s been 40 mins and this is my 3rd attempt to get through. First attempt Shell offered me a call back, I agreed to this. My phone rang twice as I went to answer it cut off. Second time I was on hold for 5 – 7 mins the phone began to ring and I was hung up on. This company clearly does not value its customers. Now for the reason I am trying to contact Shell. I signed up to their broadband with average advertised speed of 67mbps. I knew I would not get those speed where I live, but I knew I should be receiving 32mbps. My internet went live on the 12/06 And I have not received anything over 18mbps. Whilst writing this review I have finally managed to speak to a operator from Shell who is less than interested in helping me. I was told I’ve had looked at other speeds in your area and 16 – 24mbps is the going rate. How is it with my previous provider I could get speeds of 32mbps? The same lines are being used. I will be cancelling my contract with Shell and I will be going back to my previous provider.

Absolute money grabbing expletives

Absolute money grabbing expletives. Do not use. 30 billion in profit from overcharging everyone and aggressively chasing every penny that they are owed. They overcharged us by over £200 a month and then it cost us a leg to leave. Have gone with a competitor and wish I’d done so last year. I will never use Shell again. Worst company that I have had to deal with. Please stay clear

Failed line activation

I signed up for Shell’s Fast broadband service and was given a go-live date of 27th June. After receiving my router I stayed yesterday (27th June) in all day waiting for the activation but by midnight this hadn’t happened.

Earlier today I telephoned customer services at 8am to enquire further about the line activation issue only to be told I would receive a call back at 9:15am to update me. Come 10:15am nobody had called so I called them for a second time only to be told I would now have to wait until tomorrow before anyone could contact the exchange to update me on my new go live date.

I find it appalling that I wasn’t contacted yesterday about the line activation issue, a simple courteous email/text/call to update would have been both obvious and good customer service. On top of this I wasn’t called back this morning after being promised a call back. This isn’t acceptable…

Whilst I appreciate the connection issue lay with Openreach as a disabled customer working from home, I will now have to endure loss of earnings as well as this unacceptable poor customer service from Shell. I have little faith anyone will call me back.

Can this issue not be prioritised for later today??

Not Trustworthy

I joined Shell Energy broadband via Martin Lewis website few years ago where it stated I should get £60 credited to my account after 3 months, which it did. Last year I saw the same offer and I joint them again. However, this time it was not applied to my account, I rang them and I was told I needed proof therefore, they would not honor it. I thought that was a cheap scam to pull especially from a reputable website. I shall leave them in a few months time as soon as my contract is closed to expire and would not come back to them again.

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service! I spent almost 3 hours trying to solve a very simple problem with them. I was cut off 3 times, left hanging listening to horrible music for most of the time. One of the operators was rude to me before he cut me off. I am still hanging on at the moments but shortly will hang up. I have changed suppliers on line whilst waiting for them to answer the phone. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Awful company

I would highly recommend against this company. Absolutely insane how they are allowed to do what they’ve done. Most recently they refunded us thousands, and then a short time later based on ‘estimated’ readings then saw fit to see an estimated usage of what equated to -£5400 to be allowed to be proceeded with. The bills for the last year have been all over the place and so now we have no idea if in credit, due thousands etc. Absolute insanity. If due thousands we will definitely take matters further and highlighting to the appropriate places. Account and details logged in optional review info provided.

I confirmed my account closure at the beginning of May I have since asked for early cancellation fees and p and packaging details for the return of their equipment. I have contacted them by e mail and by telephone several times they say they have arranged final account details and return packaging nothing they promise materialises. The only contact received is from a debt collector – DON’T USE THIS COMPANY.
