This milestone in architecture was designed by famous German professor Emil Fahrenkamp in 1929 for a headquarter of Rhenania-Ossag company (a Shell subsidiary). Two years later the building was ready for first clerks and visitors and from the beginning was considered a masterpiece thanks to wave-like facade. Also its construction – steel framed – was applied by the first time in a high-rise building in Berlin.
