Shell Corruption Conspiracy in Corrib Gas Project

By John Donovan

We have previously reported on a supplier to the Shell Corrib Gas Project in Ireland (OSSL), who has accused Shell of corruption, ordering the falsification of invoices, engaging in a cover-up, and making related sinister threats.

Printed below is a self-explanatory email purportedly sent earlier today to Shell EP Ireland Chief Executive, Mr Michael Crothers (right) by Mr Neil Rooney, an OSSL associate.

The email in which Mr Crothers acknowledged a “moral obligation” is also provided.

If Shell advises that these emails are not authentic, then they will be removed immediately.

EMAIL PURPORTEDLY SENT THIS MORNING, 8 OCT, TO THE CEO OF SHELL EP IRELAND

Subject: Moral obligation …the consequences of assisting Shell..

Dear Sir

I note with interest your declaration of a “moral obligation” in this matter

Can you please advise if this obligation extends to Amanda and myself who find ourselves left in a very distressed situation as a result of complying with your instructions to pay for favours you now deem to be corrupt (some thing you omitted to mention when you offered the instructions).

When we asked you to assist us in correcting the world wide ban on our future employment in the Oil and Gas industry you seemed at first to acknowledge Shell inexplicable actions towards a small number of previously highly regarded members of your support team, then you got advise that said threaten them with imprisonment could be a better option.

Who going to put us in jail? And for what?

It’s you that has declared Corrib favours to landowners were corrupt, yet they continue !!

Also may I respectfully ask WHERE ARE YOU? Can’t seem to get any response from you.

YOU ARE THE CEO Of THE SHELL CORRIB PROJECT YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO SORT THIS OUT YET YOU RUN FOR COVER JUST AS YOU PREDECESSOR TERRY NOLAN DID

PLEASE RESPOND NOW OR AT LEAST EXPLAIN THAT YOUR MORAL OBLIGATION DOES NOT EXTEND TO US

Neil

I did not say that “Shell shut down your company immorally”. I was careful to say that I personally felt some moral obligation to try to find a way to find a settlement, hence the without prejudice offer that was made.

Would you like to meet again soon to continue discussions?
