Shell, through its subsidiaries and lackeys this time, is again engaging in unfair business practices in the Northeast US and screwing over their dealers.

See the attached Federal Complaint that has been filed.

Court Document – Complaint filed 20 August 2013 and its sister non-profit websites,,,,,, and are owned by John Donovan. There is also a Wikipedia feature.

Shell screwing dealers in Northeast USA?: Motiva no longer operates the retail outlets, they have leased all to wholesalers (jobbers) who in turn set the prices for the rents, and the gasoline. they have also done away with the trucking fleet, (you won’t see any shell trucks on the road) which means the wholesalers contract with common carriers to deliver the products to the stations. this is part of the plan to concentrate on operating terminals and refineries and move away from the retail sales. even though they no longer operate the stations, the products are still loaded at the motiva terminals. they have also sold off several underperforming northeast terminals as part of a restructuring plan. not to defend the company, but it appears the wholesaler is the “bad guy” in this case.
