A statement from OSSL at the request of RTE …
Several weeks ago we were approached by the Garda …we did not approach them …we were asked to participate in an enquiry regarding allegations of alcohol being supplied to members of An Garda Siochana.
We fully complied with that enquiry.
About that time Shell E&P Ireland release statements rubbishing the claims by OSSL that had been the basis for the Garda enquiry.
The claims were factual the truth is highly inconvenient for Shell ..therefore we welcome the fact that the information supplied to the GSOC is to be further investigated.
We will not allow our small company to be vilified by Shell in an effort by them to cover their tracks we are confident that the current (new ) Shell management will realise the mistakes of the past are as we have stated …and we feel sure the GSOC will confirm the veracity of our claims.

Royal Dutch Shell conspired directly with Hitler, financed the Nazi Party, was anti-Semitic and sold out its own Dutch Jewish employees to the Nazis. His burial ceremony, which had all the trappings of a state funeral, was held at his private estate in Mecklenburg, Germany. The spectacle (photographs below) included a funeral procession led by a horse drawn funeral hearse with senior Nazis officials and senior Royal Dutch Shell directors in attendance, Nazi salutes at the graveside, swastika banners on display and wreaths and personal tributes from Adolf Hitler and Reichsmarschall, Hermann Goring. Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
