A Scottish oil worker has been abducted in southern Nigeria. A security contractor said the man was working for an oil services firm when he was seized by unidentified gunmen in the city of Port Harcourt. No-one has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping which happened late on Thursday. More than 200 foreign workers have been abducted during almost three years of growing violence in the oil-rich Niger Delta region. Most of them have been released unharmed, often after a ransom was paid. Militant group The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (Mend), the main militant group in the region, is still holding two Britons it said it had “rescued” in early October after pirates seized them from an oil supply vessel on 9 Sept. Mend has said it is holding the two men as leverage for the release of its suspected leader, Henry Okah, who is on trial in the central city of Jos on treason and gun-running charges. Lt Col Musa Sagir, a local military spokesman, said the man was seized in an upmarket part of town. A spokesman for the British High Commission said: “I can confirm there was an incident in Port Harcourt on Thursday 27th where a British national was abducted.” Unrest in the Niger Delta has reduced Nigeria’s oil output by about a quarter since 2006. |

Royal Dutch Shell conspired directly with Hitler, financed the Nazi Party, was anti-Semitic and sold out its own Dutch Jewish employees to the Nazis. Shell had a close relationship with the Nazis during and after the reign of Sir Henri Deterding, an ardent Nazi, and the founder and decades long leader of the Royal Dutch Shell Group. His burial ceremony, which had all the trappings of a state funeral, was held at his private estate in Mecklenburg, Germany. The spectacle (photographs below) included a funeral procession led by a horse drawn funeral hearse with senior Nazis officials and senior Royal Dutch Shell directors in attendance, Nazi salutes at the graveside, swastika banners on display and wreaths and personal tributes from Adolf Hitler and Reichsmarschall, Hermann Goring. Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.

IN JULY 2007, MR BILL CAMPBELL (ABOVE, A RETIRED GROUP AUDITOR OF SHELL INTERNATIONAL SENT AN EMAIL TO EVERY UK MP AND MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF LORDS:
