Shell have been reported to OFGEM and The Serious Fraud Office. The Maximum they can charge customers in my area for electric is 36p last october the put my bill upto in excess of 39p and in january to 41p + According to Citizens advice this is illegal. Check you bills and if they are overcharging you report to Citizens Advice and seriuous fraud office. The more who do the more chance there is of them bveing prosecuted and you getting compensation

Every single month there’s a problem with the smart meter. The problem always seems to be about a week before my bill is due? When I call up to complain, I’m told it will be fixed within 10 days ( which by the way it is) Guess what happens a few weeks later?
Yep! Smart meter isn’t working AGAIN!! The app is absolutely rubbish. Can’t wait to leave. 4712566. Gas smarter meter is inactive yet AGAIN

This company is completely incompetent

This company is completely incompetent. No complaint procedure. Send emails that to cause fear, a contact centre that does not understand said email. Rude contact agent. Told 56 days before someone will contact me regarding a complaint. Not the first time I have had issues trying to contact a Complaints Dept. Staff who do not understand. Greed and incompetence.

Left Shell in Mid February still waiting for refund

Left Shell ion Mid February. Chasing final bill and refund of £3500. Just received email to ask me for final read and they will then pay me in a further month!!! Been with other supplier since Feb 17th They had the final read and confirmed yesterday when I called them.So basically they do not have a clue! I however do as if I do not receive the refund within 14 days I will instigate small claims and then appoint bailiffs to collect. I wonder how many previous Customers they treat in the same way. Small claims is easy and effective and Bailiffs arriving at their Head office should deter this sort of abysmal Customer care. The cost to Shell will increase by around £500 or more if Bailiffs are appointed.

Avoid!!

Avoid!!! The call center guys don’t know how to help and if you ask to speak to their manager, he doesn’t exist. I changed my address almost a month ago and despite calling three times I’m sure my old account is still open, I still haven’t received my final bill. My new account in the new address doesn’t even seem like a simple process as I have paid a £210 invisible bill, I keep asking to see it but I don’t get it?? Is it okay to pay blindly? I received an email saying I owe you 320? Whose bills am I paying? Can I see my bills or do you randomly rob people?

Cheap but service is poor as a result

Been with them a while but sadly the first time I needed any customer service realised they are no use. Should have processed an alternative fuel payment but as they couldn’t be bothered I have to deal with the government portal, waste loads of time on forms and a 6 week delay. Shell might be cheap but no customer service when you need it.
