Shell Reports Release From Distillation Unit at Texas Refinery

Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) — Royal Dutch Shell Plc said there was an emissions leak from a crude distillation unit at its Deer Park, Texas, refinery.
Gases were released because of a flange leak in the No. 2 distillation unit, the company said in a filing to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Feedstocks to the plant were halted and the leak was repaired, said Shell.
The Deer Park refinery has a daily oil-processing capacity of 340,000 barrels, according to the U.S. Energy Department.

Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
