Shell to produce more gas from three Pohokura wells

NEW PLYMOUTH, NEW ZEALAND: Shell expects to bring three more subsea wells on stream over the next few weeks at the Pohokura gas field off the Taranaki coast.
Production at Pohokura first began from three onshore wells in late 2006, followed by the first two subsea wells about eight to 12 months ago, according to sources close to the development.
Shell recently completed drilling three subsea wells using jackup ENSCO 56. Gas from the three wells will be transported via an offshore platform to the current onshore production station located about nine kilometres (5.6 miles) away on the Taranaki coast.
ENSCO 56 will be moving on to drill on Discovery Geo’s Awakino South-1 well in PEP 38479 permit in the second half of this year after a brief yard stay.

Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
