A North Sea oil platform where two workers were killed was at the centre of another safety scare yesterday after a leak was discovered in one of the rig’s legs.
More than 80 workers were airlifted from the Shell-operated Brent Bravo, which lies 116 miles north-east of Lerwick in Shetland, after the hydrocarbon leak was found on Sunday night. A number of employees have remained on the platform, which is in the process of shutting down so that the leak can be repaired. A spokesman said it was a small oil leak and no gas had escaped.

Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
