ShellNews.net: An open invitation to David Greer of Sakhalin Energy

Guest 1764 on Live Chat says:

“Why dont you all leave the guy alone? No of you even know him and have no appreciation of either how great a leader he is or the stress he is under on this monster project. I wish him and his team well”

Response by Alfred Donovan

It is true that I do not know Mr Greer personally, only his literary work. Less said about that subject the better.

If Mr Greer wishes to rebut anything published on this website I will happily undertake to publish his comments on an entirely unedited basis.

All he needs to do is send his comments to me [email protected] from his Shell email address.

He may wish to address the serious allegations made against him.

I repeat that whatever he has to say will be published exactly in his words. I will refrain from making any cheap comment in this respect.

If any individual or group of Sakhalin-2 employees wish to express  support for Mr Greer, then again any comments or article supplied will be published unedited.

This website and sisters royaldutchshellplc.com, shellnazihistory.com, royaldutchshell.website, johndonovan.website, and shellnews.net, are owned by John Donovan. There is also a Wikipedia segment.

I had the pleasure to work with David in Oman. I can only think they have had a sense of humour failure out there. One of David’s notes in Oman was “where are they, how many where there, what sped were they doing, what direction were they going in, I must find them, I am their leader”. Does this sound like a man who takes himself serious. No. I consider David Greer an inspirational leader.
