Shell buys some more influence in Brunei
Brunei Shell Petroleum Deputy Managing Director, Awg Hj Zainal Abidin Hj Mohd Ali, who handed over the cheque on behalf of the three companies, remarked, "This contribution is part of our ongoing commitments to support various activities or initiatives driven by the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
