Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) — Royal Dutch Shell Plc is studying whether to enter a partnership for a plant that sugar-cane processor Cosan SA Industria e Comercio is building in Jatai, Brazil, Valor Economico reported, without saying where it got the information.
The talks between Shell and Cosan are in an initial phase, the Brazilian newspaper said. Shell may have a minority stake in the plant, according to Valor. The plant will involve investing an estimated $200 million and will have capacity to process 3.3 million tons of sugar cane a year, Valor said.
Cosan is the worlds largest producer of ethanol from sugar cane.

Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
