ABUJA, July 4 (Reuters) – An attack on a drilling rig in the Niger Delta in southern Nigeria on Wednesday has not affected oil production because the rig is an exploration facility, a spokesman for Shell (RDSa.L: Quote, Profile , Research) in Nigeria said.
Precious Okolobo said the rig, located at Soku in the coastal area of Rivers state, was operated by a contractor company, Lonestar. Gunmen attacked the facility overnight and kidnapped five expatriates working there.

Deterding was an honored associate and supporter of Hitler and a personal friend of Goring.
Deterding was the guest of Hitler during a four day summit meeting at Berchtesgaden. Sir Henri and Hitler both had ambitions on Russian oil fields. Only an honored personal guest would be rewarded with a private four day meeting at Hitler’s mountain top retreat.
