LONDON (AFX) – Sibir Energy PLC's joint venture with Shell in the Salym group of fields in western Siberia, said Vadelyp, one of the Salym fields, will come on stream in the fourth quarter of this year.

The 50:450 joint venture, Salym Petroleum Development NV (SPD), also said that the total crude oil production rate at the Salym fields reached over 40,000 barrels per day (bpd) on April 27. [email protected]
