In 2010, I published an article revealing that four years earlier, U.S. authorities had launched an investigation into alleged industrial espionage by Shell Oil Company.

I contacted Shell at the time, but the then Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for the company refused to comment.

A related court case is currently underway. A link is provided to documents filed today IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA: Case 1:14-cv-02139-KBJ. Shell is not currently involved.

The case involves a former Shell Oil Company employee/scientist Frank Joseph Trunk III, an inventor who believes that he has been the target of cloak and dagger activity by Shell as a result of patents he filed in the USA.

If you read the remarkable document you will see that US intelligence agencies, government departments, and top people in the US government are now involved in the case.

The litigation relates to aircraft, ship and submarine stealth technology that also has potential relevance to the design of nuclear weapons and innovative technology relating to hydrocarbon exploration.

Mr Trunk alleges in the document that he has been threatened with prosecution, fines and imprisonment by US authorities.

I have had past contact by email and phone with one of the high-level US spooks named in the court document. He confirmed that Shell was being investigated for alleged corporate espionage against Mr Trunk. I do not know the current status of the investigation if it is still in progress.

I did notify British Military Intelligence about certain information being supplied to me.

According to my main insider source, Shell may be brought into the current litigation.
