The Shell whistleblower buried alive in Shell injunctions

Dr Huong, a deeply religious man with high principles, blew the whistle internally on Shell senior managements deliberate inflation of claimed proven hydrocarbon reserves. As a consequence he was the subject of unprecedented collective litigation by EIGHT Royal Dutch Shell companies who waged a campaign of terror against him for several years trying to silence him.  He was buried alive in multiple injunctions, many seeking his imprisonment. Shell completes staff withdrawal from Libya

AMSTERDAM Feb 22 (Reuters) – Oil major Royal Dutch Shell said on Tuesday that all its expat employees and their dependents in Libya, involved primarily in the company’s exploration activities in the country, had been relocated.

“Given the continuing uncertainty in Libya, Shell’s expatriate staff have now been temporarily relocated. Shell offices remain closed, and business continuity plans are in place,” a Shell spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman did not say how the evacuations took place. read more

Shell: Prelude FLNG Go-Ahead ‘Next Few Months,’ More Planned

PERTH (Dow Jones)–Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) said Tuesday that it expects to sign off on its first floating liquefied natural gas project within months, and plans to build at least six FLNG plants around the globe.

Shell hopes to take a “final investment decision in the next few months” on the company’s multibillion-dollar Prelude FLNG project offshore northwestern Australia, Shell Australia Chairman Ann Pickard, told a business event in Perth. read more
